We put a lot of effort and focus into offering internally developed training programmes and external ones.
Online learning platforms
We are aware that people learn in different ways – however, we believe that best learning is achieved through a combination of formal training, direct feedback and “on-the-job experience” – which is what we aim to provide our employees.
We offer online platforms with many different learning and training opportunities. The platforms are accessible to all employees and are an opportunity for them to further learn and develop – either through their own interest and initiative or in agreement with their manager. Through our online learning platforms, you will be able to access a wide range of different courses. These courses range from tech courses such as learning within MS Office and development courses such as leadership, customer service, personal development and much more. The platforms hold a large number of courses touching upon different themes that are relevant to different roles.
Besides our learning platforms, we offer a variety of training and development programmes, targeting different needs at different stages of your career. This includes a comprehensive catalogue of education and training opportunities ranging from a fundamental portfolio available for everyone to specialised training to meet the specific needs of each role. These assets will be available to all DANX Carousel group employees as part of an agreed development plan with their manager.
Development for growth
Another essential aspect of our efforts within learning and development is our Development for Growth programme. It is important for us that our employees have the tools and support they need to be successful in their roles – especially when they become team managers. Therefore, we make sure that we provide the necessary resources to continuously develop our employees, which is at the heart of our Development for Growth programme.
Development for Growth is an internally developed programme for junior and middle managers at DANX Carousel. The programme provides participants with the skills and tools needed to be successful in current and future roles and helps them to keep their teams engaged and motivated. It’s facilitated by internal and external development experts and includes four modules that stretch over 12 months.
The focus of the programme is to challenge the participants’ own beliefs and get them out of their comfort zone where we believe that learning really takes place. It is a highly interactive development programme and touches upon different areas that are vital to know when entering a management role at DANX Carousel Group. Some of the areas that you will touch upon when participating in the programme include the following:
- Management tools, leadership values and leadership style
- Knowledge of customers, sales, and supply chain
- Management of projects, strategy, change and career planning
- Understanding of support and business functions
- Linking participants’ skills to best business practices
- Increasing participant visibility to the wider organization and networking opportunities.
