The DANX Carousel Foundation is built on the values of Caring, Learning, and Ownership, with a particular focus on the first two. Since 2023, the foundation has continued its commitment to these principles by supporting a range of projects that not only foster personal growth but also make a tangible difference in the communities where the DANX Carousel group operates.
From empowering children through learning and development to providing crucial support to those going through difficult times, each initiative reflects the foundation’s dedication to creating positive, lasting impacts.

Team Rynkeby Finland
Team Rynkeby is a European charity cycling team that raises funds for children with critical illnesses. Founded in 2002, Team Rynkeby brings together amateur cyclists and volunteers to train and cycle to Paris while raising donations for vital causes.
The DANX Carousel Foundation has supported Team Rynkeby in Finland where they collaborate with Aamu Säätiö and Sylva ry – organisations dedicated to supporting children with cancer and their families. Aamu Säätiö funds advanced cancer research and treatment development, while Sylva ry provides emotional and practical support to families navigating life with childhood cancer. Members of Team Rynkeby are inspired by the team’s unique combination of physical challenge, purpose, and community spirit. Cycling hundreds of kilometers to Paris symbolizes resilience and hope, echoing the fight against critical illnesses for children.
By funding Team Rynkeby, the DANX Carousel Foundation contributes to improving the lives of children and their families, offering hope and support during some of their most challenging times.

RuBA Sports Association (Rudersdal Bevægelsesakademi)
RuBA is a sports association under Rudersdal Municipality’s cultural area, founded in 2007. Since then, it has grown steadily and now boasts more than 650 members across different age groups and schools in the municipality. RuBA’s mission is to ensure that all children in Rudersdal have access to high-quality instruction in gymnastics and dance, something that aligns perfectly with the foundation’s focus on supporting learning initiatives. In addition to weekly classes, RuBA offers a wide range of social events, workshops, and activities for its members.
RuBA ensures no child is excluded due to financial barriers by covering costs for dance costumes and participation fees, which are essential for performances and workshops. Matching costumes foster a sense of unity and inclusion among participants and with support from the DANX Carousel Foundation, RuBA can purchase additional costumes, allowing every child to fully participate and feel a sense of belonging.

Ødis Sports Association – Ødis IF
Ødis Sports Association, is a volunteer-driven association in the small town of Ødis with around 400–600 residents. The association is widely used by both adults and families with children, offering activities such as football, volleyball, badminton, and gymnastics for all skill levels.
The gymnastics programme caters to all ages, from rhythmic gymnastics for preschoolers and toddlers to sessions for older children aged 8–12. However, the gymnastics team is in need of equipment and relies heavily on volunteer support and the DANX Carousel Foundation is happy to be able to support with this.
Ødis IF plays an important role in fostering a strong sense of community in the town, aligning perfectly with the DANX Carousel Group’s values aimed at creating a one-team culture. Through the DANX Carousel Foundation, we are proud to support efforts that bring people together and create lasting positive impacts in their communities.

The Cerejeiras (Cherry Tree) School in Rabaçal, Portugal
Another project supported by the DANX Carousel Foundation is the Cerejeiras School in Rabaçal, Portugal, which combines innovative education with a strong sense of community.
The school embraces a democratic and individualized learning style, encouraging curiosity, personal growth, and emotional development. Small class sizes ensure each student receives tailored support, further refined through monthly teacher evaluation days. The school’s community-driven approach extends to parents and volunteers, who actively contribute through guest lessons, field trips, and collaborative activities.
With funding from the foundation, the school will build a new outdoor eating area, creating a welcoming space where students can enjoy their meals and socialize, fostering connection and collaboration — an investment that aligns with the foundation’s value of learning, by nurturing an environment where curiosity and growth can flourish both inside and outside the classroom.

Sheepey Bikers
Another inspiring project supported by the DANX Carousel Foundation is the Sheppey Bikers, a passionate community of motorcyclists dedicated to making a difference. Twice a year, at Easter and Christmas, they organize charity runs, delivering over 160 Easter eggs and selection boxes to care homes, elderly residents, and people with disabilities across their island.
They also raise funds for three vital causes: the Blood Bikers, who transport life-saving blood, organs, and breast milk; the Air Ambulance; and the Harmony Therapy Trust, which supports individuals with terminal or life-changing illnesses. The Sheppey Bikers’ commitment to helping those in need aligns perfectly with the DANX Carousel Foundation’s core value of caring.

Supporting our Colleague: Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Besides supporting inspiring initiatives outside of the DANX Carousel Group, we also care about supporting our own people. Earlier this year, our colleague faced a life-changing diagnosis of breast cancer. After undergoing treatment, she unfortunately learned that it had spread to her bones. Amidst this incredibly difficult time, there was one bright spot: her fiancé had proposed in April 2023, and they had a wedding to look forward to.
Their determination to move forward together inspired their friends to rally around them, raising funds to help with wedding costs. The DANX Carousel Foundation was proud to step in and contribute to their efforts, ensuring that their special day could be everything they dreamed of despite the challenges they’ve faced.
