Our History

The Brands within the DANX Carousel Group
The DANX Carousel Group includes three main commercial entities, DANX, Carousel, and LPR, and their subsidiaries Alltrans, Logik, UT Transport, TLS, Tromsø Budbil Sentral (TBS), FOMAB. and DANX powered by ILS (DANXILS).

Providing reliable in-night distribution services for spare parts, DANX is a pioneer in its focus on logistics solutions for the Nordic and Baltic regions, becoming the first in-night distributor of spare parts in Denmark, and the first logistics company to join the International Service Logistics Association (ISLA).

Founded in 1986 in the UK, Carousel emerged as the best logistics provider within the European time-critical space, offering an extensive air and road network across the continent. Over the years it expanded its capabilities through acquisitions of other companies in Western Europe, focusing on performance and life-critical industries where precision, business continuity, and service promise are of utmost importance.

LPR offers German-wide services covering both night and day-time express services, emergency logistics, and returns management, as well as warehousing and on-site servicing, including the installation, maintenance, and replacement of consumable materials, and on-site repairs. Founded in 1988, the LPR Group has 500 employees, including 200 service engineers working in the field.

With operations located in Dublin and Cork, Alltrans is a leader in the dynamic Irish transport industry, employing around 120 professionals nationwide. Focusing on industry-specialist logistics such as pharmaceutical and healthcare, Alltrans takes pride in delivering exceptional wholesale distribution services across Ireland.



TLS Group covers the Scandinavian logistics market, offering a comprehensive suite of services specifically tailored to sensitive equipment and specialised needs. This includes packing, dismantling, secure storage solutions, and even on-site setup, ensuring seamless client experiences across the entire logistics chain.

As the largest supplier of courier services in northern Norway, Tromsø Budbil Sentral (TBS) has been operating in the territory for the past 20 years, featuring a fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles with a payload of up to 8,000 kg. With a route network spanning from Hammerfest to Bodø, TBS is the leading logistics provider of dependable, fast solutions in northern Norway.

FOMAB specialises in final-mile distribution services in Northen Norrland, one of the most remote parts of the country, and has terminals in Luleå, Gällivare and Kiruna. Their network, which has been growing steadily since it was founded by Fredrik Forslund in 2007, serves both business-to-business and business-to-consumer customers.

Bringing more than 18 years of executive expertise from Maersk, Klaus understands the challenges and opportunities of global logistics. As CEO of our merged Group, he leverages this experience to guide a talented and passionate team, driving us towards becoming the leading force in European critical service logistics.

Ulrik Find
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Ulrik’s journey with DANX began in 2009 as Managing Director for DANX Sweden, which led him to be appointed the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the DANX Group. In 2022, with the merger of DANX and Carousel, Ulrik transitioned into his dual role as the Managing Director of DANX Sweden and COO of the newly formed DANX Carousel group.

Lars Ryssel
Chief Solutions Officer (CSO)
Lars joined the Carousel team in 2021, bringing a wealth of expertise in logistics and supply chain management from different perspectives, from supplier and customer to management consulting roles. His extensive background supports his focus on performance and efficiency, particularly on delivering exceptional customer experience and driving business growth.

Mohan Palaniandy
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Mohan brings a wealth of experience in digital transformation and innovation, having held pivotal product, system, and governance roles at DSV Global Transport Logistics and SEB for the last 11 years before joining the Group in 2023. His expertise is instrumental in connecting the Group’s Business and Technology Strategy as one and driving them forward, ensuring we remain at the forefront of innovation in our industry.

Malene Vig Hjarnaa
Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)
Malene joined DANX in 2013, bringing a heartfelt commitment to fostering growth and cultivating a strong corporate culture, whilst driving a learning organisation where continuous development fuels individual and collective success. Since becoming Chief Human Resources Officer, her strategic approach ensures that our core values are embedded in our daily operations and underpins a competence-driven performance management system, empowering our teams to thrive and contribute to the Group’s success.

Tim Deniz
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
With over 20 years of experience in time-critical logistics and a proven track record of working with blue-chip clients, Tim has a deep understanding of the complexities of global supply chains. Since joining in 2015, he has leveraged this expertise to drive strategic growth and enhance client relationships, consistently delivering commercial success. As a strategic leader, he focuses on building long-term partnerships and identifying new market opportunities, positioning the Group for sustained growth and success in the competitive time critical logistics industry.

Kasper Mahon Andreasen
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Kasper joined our Group in 2023, with a robust background in financial leadership acquired over 20 years in finance at A. P. Moller – Maersk and Unifeeder incl roles as global CFO for Unifeeder, Maersk Supply Service and Damco. With extensive experience in managing large-scale financial operations, he now leads our pursuit of sustainable financial growth and operational excellence.

Michael Bonnes
LPR Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Michael has driven LPR’s development since 1996. As Managing Director/CEO since 2014, he has overseen significant achievements, including integrating the UPS-SCS network and implementing SAP. Michael is actively involved in industry organisations, serving as former Chairman of ESLA and holding memberships in the Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL), Kundendienst-Verband Deutschland (KVD), and Bundeswirtschaftssenat (BVMW – Federal Economic Senate).
